コンセプト Conception
日本には古来より多種多様な神が存在します。そして、日本人は、個々のアイデンティティを尊重し、共存してきました。今日においては、それを八百万（やおよろず）の神と呼んでいます。そんな日本での生活の中で、時にふと万物の美しさに気づくのです。無論、他国でもそう感じることは、自然な事です。そして、私が感じた事は、万物に宿る神の存在を意識させられるという、特殊なバックグラウンドがあるからだということです。それと同時に、それを表現したいと思うようになりました。事実、世界中の科学者が研究をすすめるミクロの世界でも、同じような答えが、出されています。それは、物質の最小単位クォークの研究に見られます。彼らの出した答えは、どれも類似しています。それは、クォークを構成する2つの物質、陽子と中性子は、「”意思”と”意識”である。」という、なんとも不確かなものでした。そこに、私は、宗教と科学の共通点を見いだすと同時に、物質の持つ美しさの”根源”がある。と感じるのです。故に、私は、常にそれを制作の柱としていきたい。と考えています。
From ancient times many various God exists in Japan. And Japanese people respected each identity and have lived together. In today, it is called 8 million God "Yaoyorozu no kami". I have noticed the beauty of everything in such Japan. And then. I became to wish to express it. In fact, the physicist in the world is taking out the similar answer. It is research of an elementary particle. The answer which they took out is similar. The proton and neutron with which it constitutes a quark were an intention and consciousness. It is thought that there is the origin of beauty which a substance has at the same time it finds out the common feature of religion and science there. Therefore, I think that I want to consider it as the core of artist movement.

1969年1月28日…福岡県北九州市に生まれる Born in Fukuoka Prefecture JAPAN.
1987年3月…九州産業大学付属九州高校デザイン科卒業 Kyushyu high school design department graduation
1990年2月〜1996年2月…広告代理店勤務（福岡） Advertising agency work (Fukuoka)
1996年3月…個展「種を蒔く天使」（福岡） One-man show "Angel who seeds it" (Fukuoka)
1996年9月〜1997年5月…イギリス滞在 制作活動 ヨーロッパ旅行 Britain stay for product activity
1997年7月〜9月…アメリカ滞在 貸アトリエ主催のコンペで入選 United States stay. selected to the Competition.
1997年9月〜1999年1月…帰国後グラフィックデザイナーとして活動 Act as a graphic designer after back to JAPAN.
1999年6月…個展「超幻想的視覚言語」（福岡/熊本） One-man show "S.F.V.L" (Fukuoka)
2002年3月…活動拠点を東京に移動 画号を西園シンとする
2002年9月…イラストレーション誌「ザ・チョイス」入選 Illustration magazine "The choice" selected.
2003年10月1日〜10月31日…グループ展「Borders」（東京渋谷） Group exhibition "Borders" (Shibuya Tokyo)
2004年1月12日〜1月17日…個展「DEBUT」（東京銀座） One-man show "DEBUT" (Ginza Tokyo)
2004年4月…トーキョーワンダーサイト「0号展」入選 Tokyo wonder site "The 0 go exhibition" selected.
2004年5月…グループ展「ロックンロール展」（東京中野） Group exhibition "Rock'n'roll" (Nakano Tokyo)
2005年9月…東京都港区のギャラリースペース「JUNGLE」常設展示 Gallery space "JUNGLE" permanent exhibition.
2005年12月…アメリカ マイアミ「アートバーゼル」出品 United States Miami "Art Basel" Satellite show.
2006年8月12日〜9月11日…個展「WESTPARK」（東京目黒） One-man show "WESTPARK" (Meguro Tokyo)
2007年2月…拠点を北九州に戻し、名前も本名の佐藤晋也に戻す
